Halyna Bondarenko is an expert in a number of areas of Ukrainian culture and history. Halyna works in the Rylsky Institute of Art Studies, Folklore and Ethnology, and has published over 300 works on the subjects of religion, folk rituals, national identity issues and intercultural interrelations. Her publications include textbooks and manuals. Halyna has led on several pedagogical as well as culturological projects, and she has participated in field expeditions collecting anthropological and ethnographic materials. This woman is a truly invaluable asset to our Ukrainian Scholar Library series, and is a member of its editorial board.
